What if I don't live in Portsoken Ward?Aldgate Freedom Foundation is unable to consider you for a grant as our charitable objects only allow for applications from those in Portsoken Ward in the City of London. If you are resident in other wards in the City of London, you can visit City Advice for help with a number of issues, including housing, benefits and debt advice. If you live outside of the City of London, please refer to your local advice centres. Turn2us is a national charity that can also provide practical information and support to people facing income shocks and financial insecurity.

What if I don't have access to a laptop or printer?If you are in Portsoken Ward, a hard copy application form can be posted to you, together with a pre-paid envelope to return the completed form. Please call 020 7283 1670 or email aldgatefreedomfoundation@gmail.com to request.

What if I need help completing the form?You are welcome to ask a family member or friend to help you complete the form, but it must be signed off by you. Professional help can be sought at the City Advice Centre at Toynbee Hall.
